I would like to look into the increased popularity of social
media detoxing and why it’s so vital in our current hyper connected era. Social
media is a fantastic resource for connecting, sharing thoughts, and even
marketing business, but its all pervasive nature can also cause feelings of burnout, stress and anxiety. I’m going to look at the highs and lows of a social media
break, and why we must consider it not just as an avoidance but as a tool for
mental health and overall wellbeing.
In this world that we are so connected in, it can sometimes
be difficult to navigate the social media impact on our mental well being. Stepping
back and taking the leap into a social media detox is on solution to regain
control and improve our overall well being. Whether you quit cold turkey or
simply implement boundaries, the important thing is to strike a balance that
allows you to live a more current, aware life. As we continue in this age of
technology, it is important that we remember that we should first and foremost prioritize
our mental health.
